Mountain Creek Marina at 7515 Stonewall Street, Sherrills Ford, North Carolina.

Have had several bad experiences dealing with this Marina. Most recent was for repair work. The mechanic (that you can never get to return a call) said we needed the gimble bearing replaced. After he removed the out-drive he said it need a bunch of other stuff and the bill would be about $1,000 higher that his original estimate of $500. We told him to just replace the gimble, which he supposedly did. But the problem was not fixed (making the same noise when you steer it as it was before). I tried to contact him several times but got no call back. I did get a bill for $583 which i refused to pay, so they decided to hold my boat hostage and refused to pull the boat from dry storage until the bill was paid These guys apparently don't guarantee any of the mechanics work.I will never use them again for repairs and I wont be buying any gas there either. Boaters BEWARE!!
